Terrific Tamworth - KARAOKE NIGHT

Karaoke Queens - Louise, Carol and Donna
Go Camp Quality !!

What a night our Fun Therapy Karaoke Night turned out to be - the poor locals didn't really get a look in.
I mean, what do you get when you put 29 Camp Quality people in a room with a Karaoke Machine - a lot of hogging of the microphone !!
King, Troy, Queen & Dave - "The Gambler"

I had no idea how many great singers we had in our Team and most of them were there until the end (12.00 p.m.).  For Troy and Dave, waiting for their turn to sing proved impossible and they decided they were really needed as back up singers for EVERYONE who came up to sing whether they wanted them there or not !!

Of course the night started out with a rendition of "I will Survive" by the three Karaoke Queens (Louise, Carol and me) and from there - it just went on.

King, Queen and Troy belted out an amazing Kenny Rogers "Gambler".

Heath was a bit of a dark horse and had the girls swooning as he let loose with Red Hot Chilli Peppers " Under the Bridge".

Maree and Louise were back on stage with "My Sharona" and the night finally ended with Jenny, Cathy and Queen doing their own rendition of "It's Raining men".  Wow, what a night !!

The sleeping arrangements at the Court House Hotel were hilarious - because they did not have enough beds for everyone, Simon the owner kindly hired mattresses and linen for us and we all slept on the ground in a lot of cases on mattresses - it was very cosy.

Half of "the Bear Room"
Other Half of "Bear Room"
The "bear room" as it got nicknamed had 8 mattresses in it and you couldn't even walk in between the beds - you just had to jump from the door onto your mattress - the boys looked a treat all lined up in their beds like the 7 dwarfs !!  It was called the bear room because there was so much snoring coming from that room, it almost lifted the roof off.  In true Camp Quality spirit though, everyone just took it as it came and all laughed about the experience.

Today's Jersey Winners were Carol, Mark and Heath.

Donna.
